Privacy policy

Last updated September 2, 2026. Written in plain English because you are about to tell us about your health.

What we collect

When you submit the quote form we receive the details you type: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, the procedure you are interested in, your situation (for example uninsured, veteran, or on a Canadian waitlist), your timeline, and any message you add. We also record which page the form was on. If you later email us imaging, diagnoses or existing quotes, we hold those too.

Our analytics (Google Analytics 4) collects standard, non-identifying usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type. We do not run advertising trackers.

How we use it

  • To shortlist clinics and send them your case for a quote.
  • To reply to you by email or WhatsApp.
  • To arrange travel and recovery logistics if you ask us to.
  • To keep records of referrals, because clinics pay us a fee when a referred patient books.

Who we share it with

The clinics we shortlist for you receive the medical and procedural details needed to prepare a quote. We do not send your contact details to a clinic until you tell us which one you want to speak to. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers, insurers, or data brokers. Our form submissions are stored in Google Workspace, and email is handled by Google; both act as our processors.

Health information

We are not a covered entity under HIPAA and this site is not a medical provider. Treat what you send us as you would treat a message to a travel agent who happens to know good surgeons: share what is needed to get a useful quote, and send clinical records directly to the clinic once you have chosen one.

Retention and your rights

We keep quote requests for up to 24 months so we can follow up and track referrals, then delete them. Email andy@colombiamedical.co at any time to see what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted. Residents of the EU, UK and California have additional statutory rights, which we honor for everyone.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets its usual cookies. The site itself sets none. Your browser's cookie controls work here as anywhere.
